Ideal for collating, grouping and packaging products into open trays, then placing an inside or outside lid.  2, 3, or 4 sided lids.  Folded or glued.

Incoming products are grouped and collated.

Inside lid:
In the case of inside lid, the cover is precisely folded around the product group so formed and glued. The insertion head holds the group in shape and places it on the flat tray blank. In the last step the tray is folded and glued around the cover.

Outside lid:
In the case of slip-on covers, the grouping is enclosed with the folding head and then positioned on the tray blank. The blank is then precisely folded and glued with hot melt. In a second operation, the cover is then folded over the finished tray and glued.
Of course trays without covers  can also be produced.
