HDG’s flagship is the type RB Horizontal form, fill and seal machine with Rotary Turret.  This machine forms the pouch in linear fashion, then cuts and transfers the individual formed pouch to a rotary turret gripper system.  This allows each pouch to be opened, filled and sealed individually.  There are many advantages to this system:  the forming area is separated from the filling area, pouches can be opened wider, pouch seals are pulled tight for a perfect seal without the risk of channel leakers, and the machine footprint is smaller.
